Meet Dr. Rob Berube
Following a Calling to Help Others Heal
Glen Allen Chiropractor, Dr. Rob Berube
When Dr. Rob was graduating high school, he knew he wanted a future in healthcare—he just wasn’t sure what form that would take. The answer came when he visited the chiropractic office where his mother was receiving care.
“I was amazed that just by working with the body and helping it function better, he was able to improve patients’ health and lives without drugs or surgery,” Dr. Rob recalls. “In many cases, he was saving patients from needing those things. I immediately knew this is how I wanted to help people—by helping them reach their full potential through chiropractic care.”
Dr. Rob graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, and has been serving the Richmond area since 2003. He and his wife Sharon chose Richmond because they loved having the mountains to the west and the ocean to the east. Both their daughters grew up here, and their youngest is currently a junior at Virginia Tech.
A Different Approach to Healing
Dr. Rob takes a whole-body approach, looking not just at where you hurt, but at how everything works together. He addresses the spine, the muscles, and the soft tissue that support it—so your body can heal at the deepest level.
I believe our bodies are more than just machines,” Dr. Rob explains. “There’s a natural intelligence inside each of us that’s constantly working to heal and organize. My job is to remove anything that’s interfering with that natural process—so you can experience the health and vitality you’re meant to have. Whether you’re dealing with chronic pain, recovering from an injury, or optimizing your health, I’ll work with you to create a plan that fits your goals.”
Gentle Care, Tailored to You
Dr. Rob’s adjusting style is all about using just the right amount of force—no more, no less. Some adjustments are so gentle you’ll barely feel them; others need a bit more. He’ll match the approach to what your body needs and what feels comfortable for you.
Whether you need hands-on adjustments or prefer a lighter touch with instruments, Dr. Rob will work with you to create a plan that fits.
Life Outside the Practice
Dr. Rob was an avid mountain biker and still enjoys occasional rides. He stays active with strength training, walking his dog Lola, and spending time with Sharon and their two adult daughters. He’s passionate about cooking healthy and delicious meals, continuous learning, and helping people simplify their lives so they can focus on what matters most.
Dr. Rob is thrilled to join Dr. Scott and the team at Tri-Ad Chiropractic.
